SWAKOPMUND, 19 SEP (NAMPA) – There is an urgent need for active involvement from all sectors to address the root causes of Gender Based Violence (GBV), including deeply entrenched gender stereotypes, power imbalances and economic inequalities.
According to Erongo Governor, Neville Andre Itope, it is imperative to invest in community-based programmes that teach respect, non-violence and equality from an early age.
