WINDHOEK, 30 AUG (NAMPA) – The Namibian Police Force (NamPol) has announced the total number of road accidents which occurred during the Heroes’ Day week, including the long weekend.
NamPol national spokesperson, Deputy Commissioner Kaunapawa Shikwambi in a statement on Thursday indicated that 67 road accidents were recorded between 19 and 26 August 2024.
A total of 118 injuries were recorded. Six were fatalities.
