WINDHOEK, 15 AUG (NAMPA) – The Government of Japan has extended an emergency grant aid of N.dollars 5 million to Namibia to assist towards the serious food insecurity as a result of the drought caused by El Nino.
A media statement issued on Thursday by the Embassy of Japan in Namibia said the emergency grant will enable the provision of emergency food relief through the United Nations World Food Programme (WFP).
