COVID-19: Namibia records 96 new cases and 31 deaths

WINDHOEK, 19 JAN (NAMPA) – Health and Social Services Minister, Dr Kalumbi Shangula, has announced that Namibia on Tuesday recorded 96 new COVID-19 cases and 31 deaths, bringing total deaths in the country to 3 864.
In the daily update issued Wednesday, Shangula said the new cases formed part of 1 482 results and represented a 6.5 per cent positivity ratio, with a sex distribution of 48 females and 48 males aged between 11 months and 102 years.
