Burnt body of child found in skip in Windhoek

GOBABIS, 26 JAN (NAMPA) – The burnt body of a girl aged between seven and 10 was found in a skip in Windhoek West on Saturday.
A statement issued by the Head of the Namibian Police Force’s Public Relations Unit, Deputy Commissioner Kauna Shikwambi said a case of murder and obstruction or defeating the course of justice has been opened.
The body was discovered by a passer-by in Windhoek West’s Ooievaar Street around 06h00.
The identity of the deceased is unknown as the girl was burnt beyond recognition.
