COVID-19: Namibia records 92 new cases, five deaths
Written by Elvi Haihambo on 12 May 2021.WINDHOEK, 12 MAY (NAMPA) – Health and Social Services Minister, Dr. Kalumbi Shangula said Namibia on Tuesday recorded 92 new COVID-19 positive cases and five COVID-19 deaths.
Shangula while giving the daily COVID-19 update said the cases have a gender distribution of 49 male and 43 female patients, with the youngest being six months old and the oldest 77 years.
He said the deaths were recorded in the Outjo, Gobabis, Oshakati, Otjiwarongo and Windhoek districts, bringing the total deaths to 696.
