BoN launches the instant payment project

WINDHOEK, 26 APR (NAMPA) - The Bank of Namibia (BoN) on Friday officially launched an Instant Payment Project, aimed to significantly broaden financial inclusion by providing essential and affordable financial services to all.
With an official launch date of 2025, the project focuses on rural and informal sectors that face logistical and financial barriers to accessing traditional banking services.
