Ongwediva woman arrested for alleged concealment of birth

ONGWEDIVA, 29 SEP (NAMPA) – The police in the Oshana Region on Monday arrested a 22-year-old woman from Omwaalu village in the Ohangwena Region’s Endola Constituency after she allegedly concealed the birth of twin babies.
Inspector Thomas Aiyambo of the Namibian Police Force (NamPol) Community Affairs’ office in the region said the woman who now is a resident of Sky location in Ongwediva, was arrested on a charge of concealment of birth, following a tip-off from her neighbours.
