(260714) -- HARBIN, July 14, 2026 (Xinhua) -- An aerial drone photo taken on July 13, 2026 shows a China-Europe freight train pulling out of the Suifenhe Railway Port in Suifenhe, northeast China's Heilongjiang Province. China Railway Harbin Group Co., Ltd. has advanced the development of digital port systems and railway express services while continuously improving connectivity among port infrastructure facilities. These efforts have enhanced the efficiency and capacity of the eastern corridor of the China-Europe freight train service. As of June 2026, the cumulative number of China-Europe Railway Express trips via the eastern corridor had exceeded 40,000. The eastern corridor, consisting of three major railway ports of Manzhouli, Suifenhe and Tongjiang, has so far connected more than 60 Chinese cities with 14 European countries through 27 regular routes, serving as a vivid example of efforts to promote high-quality Belt and Road cooperation.
