First phase of UNAM's Southern Campus not yet complete
Written by Suzith Tjitaura on 23 October 2018.KEETMANSHOOP, 23 OCT (NAMPA) – Construction of the first phase of the University of Namibia’s (UNAM) Southern Campus at Noordhoek in Keetmanshoop has been halted due to a lack of funds.
Construction of the first phase was expected to be completed by the end of September this year, but work has been at a standstill since April this year.
Approached for comment recently, UNAM Public Relations Officer, John Haufiku confirmed that construction has been temporarily halted due to a lack of funding.
