WINDHOEK, 16 FEB (NAMPA) – The Namibian economy benefits largely from the mining industry as it remains one of the major contributors to the Gross Domestic Product (GDP).
Speaking during the launch of the 2017 Mining Conference and Expo here on Wednesday, Chamber of Mines of Namibia Chief Executive Officer Veston Malango said the benefits of a modern and well-run mining sector are plenty, and remain important drivers of Namibia’s economic growth.
