NamPol seizes counterfeit goods worth N.dollars 6.5 million

WINDHOEK, 30 AUG (NAMPA) – The Namibian Police Force (NamPol) has confiscated counterfeit goods valued at N.dollars 6.5 million, making it the biggest seizure in the Oshana and Ohangwena regions.
The operation was carried out on 27 and 28 August 2015 in coordination with Interpol, Namibia's customs and excise department, brand owners and Namibian immigration officials in the two regions.
Counterfeit goods confiscated include perfume and pirated products of popular brands such as Levi's and Nike.
