!Naruseb opens Omuthiya-Onanke gravel road

OMUTHIYA, 23 MAY (NAMPA) - Minister of Works and Transport Alpheus !Naruseb on Thursday opened the newly upgraded Omuthiya-Onanke District Road 3673 in the Oshikoto Region.
A total of 33 kilometres (km) of this district road has been upgraded from sand track to gravel standard.
!Naruseb said the upgrade of the road to gravel standard will promote development in the area, which will in turn contribute towards poverty alleviation.
