Woman dies in hut-fire at Aussenkehr

KEETMANSHOOP, 31 AUG (NAMPA) – A 43-year old woman lost her life around 20h00 on Saturday night when her reed hut at Aussenkehr in the //Karas Region caught fire.
The victim was identified as Faustina Kutjira Ghumwanghadhi, a Namibian worker at the southern grape farm.
Namibian Police Force (NamPol) spokesperson for the //Karas Region, Deputy Commissioner Rudolf Isaak said the incident was caused by a burning candle.
