Aquaculture to address over fishing

KATIMA MULILO, 06 MAR (NAMPA) – Minister of Fisheries and Marine Resources, Bernard Esau, has inaugurated a hatchery at the Zambezi Inland Aquaculture Centre (ZIAC), which is aimed at addressing overfishing in the country.
According to Esau, who was speaking at the occasion on Thursday, Government has made provisions to construct aquaculture centres as both freshwater and marine captures have reached over-exploitation or habitat degradation.
