Katounyana graduates first police cadets

KATIMA MULILO, 30 JAN (NAMPA) – The Katounyana Police Training Centre has graduated its first-ever constables here in the Zambezi Region on Friday.
The 298 new police graduates who participated in the passing-out parade ceremony at the Katima Mulilo complex, are the first cadet constables out of 307 who attended a six-month rigorous physical and mental exercises at the centre.
Nine of the 307 trainees were discharged from the training due to pregnancies, ill-health and criminal records.
