Murder accused denied bail at Rundu

RUNDU, 29 APR (NAMPA) – A man who stands accused of killing his ex-girlfriend at the Kehemu residential area in Rundu last week Thursday, was denied bail when he made his first appearance in the Rundu Magistrate’s Court on Monday.
Soares Ngonga Siwombe, 28, appeared before Magistrate Sonia Samupofu, who postponed the case to 27 August 2024.
Prosecutor Hilia Munzenze opposed bail due to the severity of the case and that it is not in the interest of the public.
