Renewable energy benefits go beyond government royalties and tax: Balhao

LÜDERITZ, 17 APR (NAMPA) - Lüderitz Mayor, Phillippus Balhao has said the oil, gas and renewable energy industries present vast opportunities beyond government royalties and tax.
Speaking here on Tuesday during the official opening of the Namibia Local Content Conference, Balhao said if prudently managed, such sectors can accord Namibians new opportunities through the introduction of new economic sectors.
