Walvis Bay community prays for end to gender-based violence

WALVIS BAY, 17 SEP (NAMPA) – Walvis Bay residents held a mass prayer against gender-based violence on Saturday.
The prayer session follows the brutal murder and mutilation of nine-year-old Cheryl Avihe Ujaha in Windhoek.
She was reported missing on 26 August 2018 and her mutilated remains were found three days later. No arrests have been made in connection with the murder yet.
