Omaruru to host more sporting events this year

OMARURU, 21 APR (NAMPA) – Omaruru will host more sporting events this year as a way of improving the socio-economic status of the town.
This was said by Erongo Region Sports Officer Berthold Karumendu on the side-lines of the 2018 Omaruru Spar Cycle Race, which took place along the Omaruru-Kalkfeld road on Saturday.
“We have just concluded the cycling event and we are now turning our attention to the Olympic Day which will take place here on 23 June,” he said.
