International media misrepresented Namibia as tax haven: Hybaskova

WINDHOEK, 07 DEC (NAMPA) – Head of the EU to Namibia, Jana Hybaskova said Namibia has been misled by the international media that the country has been blacklisted by the European Union (EU) and labelled a tax haven.
In a media briefing in the capital on Wednesday, Hybaskova explained that Namibia was put on the list of non-cooperating jurisdictions with 16 other countries, because the country did not respond to questions posted by the EU Council of Ministers of Finance.
