Russia's State Duma Extends 'Parallel Import' Mechanism, Anti-Sanctions Measures to 2026

MOSCOW, December 9 (RIA Novosti) - Russia's lower house, the State Duma, approved in second and third readings on Tuesday a law extending the "parallel import" mechanism and several other measures aimed at mitigating the impact of Western sanctions against Moscow to 2026. The parallel import mechanism permits imports of goods without the consent of copyright, trademark or brand owners. It has been in place in Russia since May 2022....
