Sugar futures close higher

ZHENGZHOU, Dec. 9 (Xinhua) -- Sugar futures closed higher Tuesday in daytime trading on the Zhengzhou Commodity Exchange (ZCE). The most active sugar contract for January 2026 delivery gained 12 yuan (about 1.7 U.S. dollars) to close at 5,343 yuan per tonne.
