Germany's Thyssenkrupp posts profit after previous-year loss

Berlin (dpa) - German industrial group Thyssenkrupp closed its 2024/25 financial year with a net profit of ?532 million ($619.5 million), rebounding from more than a billion-euro loss the previous year. The gain was driven mainly by a write-up on its stake in elevator maker TK Elevator and the sale of a speciality steel producer in India, the company said on Tuesday.
