Wall Street stocks slumped early Friday with tech companies leading the sell-off, while investors moderate their expectations about further interest rate cuts by the US central bank. The Dow Jones Industrial Average shed 1.1 percent to 46,939.44, while the broad-based S&P 500 lost 0.8 percent to 6,682.66. The tech-heavy Nasdaq Composite Index fell 0.9 percent to 22,661.28.
