Vietnam's capital welcomes over 28 mln visitors in 10 months

HANOI, Nov. 14 (Xinhua) -- Vietnam's capital Hanoi welcomed more than 28.22 million visitors in the first 10 months of this year, up nearly 22 percent year on year, local daily VnBusiness reported Friday. According to Nguyen Tran Quang, deputy director of Hanoi's Department of Tourism, the city received 6.17 million international arrivals during the period, up 23.6 percent, while domestic tourists numbered 22.05 million, up 21.4 percent.
