US Shutdown Could Decrease Q4 GDP Growth by 2 Percentage Points – White House

WASHINGTON, November 12 (RIA Novosti) – The ongoing federal government shutdown could reduce the US economy's growth in the last quarter of 2025 by two percentage points, White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt said on Wednesday, citing the Congressional Budget Office (CBO). “According to a CBO estimate, the Democrat shutdown could end up decreasing fourth quarter economic growth by two whole percentage points,” Leavitt said during a press b......
