MOSCOW, January 11 (Sputnik) - The German police dispersed protesters blocking the streets in the federal state of Saxony during the right-wing Alternative for Germany (AfD) party congress, the Junge Freiheit newspaper reported on Saturday. The police reportedly intervened to clear a sit-in demonstration after left-wing activists attacked AfD co-chair Alice Weidel's car.
