Swapo terminates Esau’s membership

WINDHOEK, 09 APR (NAMPA) – The Swapo Party Politburo has terminated the membership of former Fisheries and Marine Resources Minister, Bernhardt Esau, with immediate effect.
Swapo’s Secretary for Information and Mobilisation, Hilma Nicanor announced at a media briefing on Friday that due to the serious corruption allegations both Esau and former justice minister Sacky Shanghala are facing, the party resolved to terminate Esau’s membership and suspend both from the Central Committee with immediate effect.
