COVID-19: Namibia records 307 new cases, nine deaths
Written by Selma Shiwaya on 26 January 2021.WINDHOEK, 26 JAN (NAMPA) – Minister of Health and Social Services, Dr Kalumbi Shangula on Tuesday announced that Namibia has recorded 307 new COVID-19 cases, bringing the total number of confirmed cases to 32 957.
Shangula said cases reported on Tuesday represent a 17 per cent positivity ratio.
Nine deaths were also reported of which four are from Windhoek and the others from Katima Mulilo, Swakopmund, Oshakati, Grootfontein and Keetmanshoop. Eight of the deceased had comorbidities.
