Special elections kick off in Katutura central constituency

WINDHOEK, 13 NOV (NAMPA) – The polling station for Windhoek’s Katutura central constituency opened at 07h00 for special voting for the 2019 Presidential and National Assembly elections on Wednesday.
However, by 07h30, no one had voted yet.
Returning officer at the Katutura Community Hall polling station, Simon Sheya, told Nampa the men and women in uniform who came to vote could not provide proof from their regional commander that they will be on duty on 27 November, which is the national election day.
