WINDHOEK, 10 JUL (NAMPA) – Namibia has recorded its first COVID-19 death, Minister of Health and Social Services Dr Kalumbi Shangula announced on Friday.
A 45-year-old Namibian man from Walvis Bay became the first person to die of coronavirus in the country on Wednesday, 08 July 2020.
Shangula said the man showed COVID-19 symptoms before his death and test results obtained on Friday, 10 July 2020 came back positive for the virus.
