Erongo COVID-19 emergency facility to be split amongst two towns

WALVIS BAY, 02 APR (NAMPA) – The plan to construct a 150-bed containerised COVID-19 hospital facility at Walvis Bay has been amended to host 75 beds in Walvis Bay and 75 in Swakopmund.
The project which is being coordinated by the Walvis Bay Urban Constituency Disaster Risk Management Committee, chaired by councillor Knowledge Ipinge, is a partnership between the State and the private sector.
