Exhuming and reburial of liberation struggle martyrs approved by Cabinet

OTJIWARONGO, 12 AUG (NAMPA) - Cabinet on Wednesday approved the process that will see the remains of several liberation struggle martyrs across the country exhumed and reburied at special, selected burial sites to be agreed upon by Government and family members.
A media statement issued to Nampa on Thursday indicates that the approval was granted to the Ministry of Defence and Veterans Affairs on Wednesday at the 13th Cabinet decision-making meeting which took place in Windhoek.
