Teenager dies from snake bite at Mukwe

RUNDU, 09 APR (NAMPA) – A 14-year-old boy died at Shakashi village in the Mukwe constituency on Thursday after being bitten by a snake.
The Namibian Police Force’s Crime Investigations Coordinator for the Kavango East Region, Bonifatius Kanyetu told Nampa on Friday the incident occurred around 16h30.
The boy was sent by his parents to fetch their goats in the woods near their homestead when he came back crying, saying he had been bitten on the leg by a snake, Kanyetu said.
