Queues at Keetmanshoop dry out as elections near conclusion

KEETMANSHOOP, 26 NOV (NAMPA) – Less than 100 voters were seen in queues at various polling station in the Keetmanshoop Urban Constituency after closing time.
By law polling stations have to close at 21h00 however everyone that is in the queue by 21h00 is not turn away and can still cast their votes.
When Nampa visited the TransNamib polling station at 20h55 about 30 people were seen in the queue while at the local public library about 50 people were still in the queue around the same time.
