Late voters turned away at Katima Mulilo Community Hall

KATIMA MULILO, 26 NOV (NAMPA) - Despite a low voter turnout throughout the day in the Zambezi Region, polling officials had to turn away at least 20 people who came late to cast their votes at the Ngweze Community Hall in Katima Mulilo.

The polling station, which opened at 07h00, officially closed its door at exactly 21h00, with Namibian Broadcasting Corporation (NBC) news reporter, Charmaine Snewe news reporter, being the last person to cast her vote.
