No by-election for Keetmanshoop Urban Constituency councillor position

KEETMANSHOOP, 14 AUG (NAMPA) – A by-election will not be conducted for the Keetmanshoop Urban Constituency to fill the councillor’s position, the Electoral Commission of Namibia (ECN) has announced.
The post became vacant after the death of the Keetmanshoop Urban Constituency Councillor, Maxie Minnaar of the Landless People’s Movement, on Monday.
