Namibia Horse Racing Association warns about doping

WINDHOEK, 27 JAN (NAMPA) – The Namibia Horse Racing Association (NHRA) is concerned about racehorses being injected with performance-enhancing drugs ahead of major races.
During its annual general meeting held in the capital on Saturday, NHRA said it views doping as a critical issue and will suspend horse owners and clubs that are involved in doping.
The association also resolved among others that no horse will be changed or moved from one race to another on race day.
