State wants life imprisonment for South African truck driver

WINDHOEK, 13 NOV (NAMPA) - The prosecution wants a South African truck driver who was earlier this year found guilty of murdering a 56-year-old Namibian woman in 2014, to be sentenced to life imprisonment.
Willem Wimpie Februarie, 39, was on 13 June 2019 found guilty of murdering Windhoek resident Dinah Diedericks at her home in Windhoek West on 21 June 2014 in a judgement handed down by High Court Judge, Naomi Shivute.
Februarie was found guilty of murder with direct intent to kill.
