Khorixas council relocates over 100 informal settlement residents

KHORIXAS, 08 OCT (NAMPA) – The Khorixas Town Council planning division has relocated 120 residents to a new formalised informal settlement area at the town.
Many residents have welcomed the process that started in August, as the new informal settlement has been demarcated in an orderly manner, Planning Officer at the council, Sieglinde Wetha told Nampa here on Tuesday.
She said residents built houses in a disorderly manner prompting the council to relocate them.
