Swapo candidate wins Ondangwa Urban by-election

ONDANGWA, 16 JUN (NAMPA) – Swapo candidate Leonard Negonga was declared the new Ondangwa Urban Constituency councillor after winning the by-election held on Saturday with 1 936 votes.
The Electoral Commission of Namibia’s coordinator for the by-election, Rauna Nkandi, made the announcement when the counting of the votes was finalised Sunday morning.
