Teenage girl allegedly commits suicide in Mariental

REHOBOTH, 25 MAR (NAMPA) – The body of a 15-year-old girl was found hanging from a tree at the Tsaraxa Aibes cemetery in Mariental on Sunday in an apparent suicide.
The Namibian Police Force’s crime investigation coordinator for the Hardap Region, Deputy Commissioner Eric Clay told Nampa on Monday the body was found by a passerby around 07h45.
The deceased was identified as Sade Sandelie Saal, a Grade 8 learner at Danie Joubert Combined School.
Clay said no suicide note was found.
