WINDHOEK, 21 FEB (NAMPA) – A former senior Namibian Police Force (NamPol) officer found guilty of killing a teenager and wounding a woman at Gobabis in 2016, was on Thursday sentenced to 36 years imprisonment.
Oscar Awaseb, 51, was a Detective Inspector at the Gobabis Police Station in the Omaheke Region at the time of the incident.
