Geingob wants land conference held in honour of Gurirab

WINDHOEK, 20 JUL (NAMPA) – President Hage Geingob has called on Namibians to ensure that the correct property rights and well-being of Namibians are protected and safeguarded.
This, according to Geingob, would be in honour of the late Theo-Ben Gurirab, who advocated for correct land appropriation.
Geingob made these remarks during Gurirab’s state memorial service in the capital on Friday, ahead of the land conference slated for October this year.
