WINDHOEK, 16 JUN (NAMPA) – Namibia’s senior rugby team, the Welwitschias started off its defence of the 2018 Rugby Africa Gold Cup with a 55-6 pounding of Uganda’s Rugby Cranes at the Hage Geingob Stadium on Saturday.
Namibia has won the Rugby Africa Gold Cup four times in a row since 2014 and this year’s championship will be used as a qualifier for the 2019 Rugby World Cup in Japan.
