Komsberg fire injures four women

KEETMANSHOOP, 14 DEC (NAMPA) – Four women sustained injuries on Wednesday night in a fire that destroyed 20 reed shacks on the Komsberg grape farm near the southern border of the country.
Namibian Police //Kharas Regional Crime Investigations Coordinator, Deputy Commissioner Chrispin Mubebo told Nampa on Thursday the cause of the fire is still being investigated.
Workers at Komsberg have been struggling with proper accommodation for years, and reside in reed huts that increase safety risks.
