WINDHOEK, 14 DEC (NAMPA) – “I have sold the township, so drop my name out of it.”
These were the words of President Hage Geingob during an end-of-year press conference in Windhoek on Wednesday, in reference to his stake in a real estate project through African Sunrise Investment.
Geingob said he sold his “family trust fund township” and that the project is now an independent entity that does not belong to him.
The township has been on the market for a while before it was finally sold, Geingob added.
