Ndeitunga wants Windhoek’s Chinatown closed down
Written by Isabel Bento on 09 December 2016.OSHAKATI, 09 DEC (NAMPA) – The Inspector-General of the Namibian Police Force (NamPol), Lieutenant-General Sebastian Ndeitunga, has said he wants the Chinatown arcade in Windhoek to be shut down and be dismantled.
He said shop owners at the complex are becoming notorious for hiding foreign criminals, especially poachers, and that the complex is becoming a “thorn in the flesh” of the police.
