WINDHOEK, 16 APR (NAMPA) - A man found guilty of murdering his girlfriend by hitting her with a blunt object on the head in September 2011, was on Thursday sentenced to an effective 32 years’ imprisonment.
The 27-year-old Richard Hange was punished for killing Lisa Kandovazu at her residence in the Havana informal settlement on the outskirts of Windhoek on 27 September 2011.
High Court Judge Christie Liebenberg imposed the heavy punishment on Thursday morning.
